Research Vision

I am engaged in the study of the brain, a (hyper) complex, dynamic system, organized by multi-level, interacting, plastic/adaptive networks.

When beginning with the brain, levels of study can span from the molecular to the individual to the society. My research work described on this website focuses on the neurocircuit and individual levels.

My work uses brain mapping and brain stimulation to understand and treat serious mental illness, such as psychosis, mood dysregulation and OCD.
